A ladder is at rest with its upper end against a wall and the lower end on a floor. Is it more likely to slip when a man stands on its lower rungs or its upper rungs. Explain?

When a man stands at the upper end, the moment of his weight about the lower end of the ladder is greater compared to that when he is at the bottom of the ladder. Therefore, the ladder is more likely to slip when he stands at the top.
