PA x PB = PC x PD If CD = x, then

⇒ 8 × 3 = (2 + x)2 ⇒ 24 = 4 + 2x

⇒ 2x = 20 ⇒ x = \(\frac{20}{2}\) = 10

∴ CD= 10
