`rArr 3x-2 lt 2x+1`
`rArr 3x-2+2 lt 2x+1+2`
`rArr 3x lt 2x+3`
`rArr 3x-2x lt 2x +3-2x`
`rArr x lt 3`
अर्थात ऐसी समस्त वास्तविक संख्याएँ जो 3 से छोटी हैं |
अतः अभीष्ट हल समुच्चय `=(-prop,3)`.
(b) दिया है :
`4x=3lt 6x +7`
`4x-6x lt -3+7`
`-2x lt 4`
`-2x(-1) lt 4(-1)`
`2x lt -4`
`x lt -2`
अतः हल समुच्चय `=(-2,-1,0,1,2,........) "या"(-2,prop)`
(c) दिया है :
`x+x/3+x/4 lt 19`
`rArr 12x+4x+3x lt 19xx 12`
`19x lt 19 xx12`
`rArr x lt 12`
अतः हल समुच्चय `={..........,-1,0,1,2,.............12} "या"(-prop,12)`
(d) दिया है :
`(5-2x)/3 le x/6-5`
`rArr 2(5-2x) le x-30`
`rArr 10-4x le-10-30`
`rArr -5x le-40`
`rArr 5x ge 40`
`rArr x ge 8`
अतः हल समुच्चय ={8,9,10,.........} या `[8,prop)`
