A circus tent is in the shape of a square pyramid. The area of the base is 1600m and its height is 375m then, how much canvas would be needed for this and also find its perimeter?

a² = 1600m²,

a = 40m

\(l=\sqrt{37.5^2+20^2}\)

= \(\sqrt{1406.25+400}\)

= \(\sqrt{1806.25}\)

= 42.5

area of canvas = \(2al\)

= 2 x 40 x 42.5 = 3400m²
