The give quantum number are as fololows
Principal quantum number `(n) = 3`
Azimuthal quantum number `(i) = 2` or `d`
Magnitic number `(m) = 0`
image
Spin quantum number `(m_(s)) = -(1)/(2)`
Therefore total number of electron in d orbital is `8` Hence it is `d^(9)` configuration it shows that the element is `Ni(3d^(8))`
