Draw a perpendicular from B to AC
AB = 4cm
AD = 2
DB = \(2\sqrt{3}\)
DB = DC = \(2\sqrt{3}\)
BC = \(\sqrt{12}+12=\sqrt{24}\)
Perimeter = 4 + \(\sqrt{24}+2\sqrt{3}+2\)
= 6 + \(\sqrt{24}+2\sqrt{3}\) cm
Area = \(\frac{1}{2}\) x AC x DB
= \(\frac{1}{2}\) x (2 + \(2\sqrt{3}\)) x \(2\sqrt{3}\) = (2 + \(2\sqrt{3}\)) \(\sqrt{3}\)
= \(2\sqrt{3}\) + \(2\sqrt{3}\) x \(\sqrt{3}\) = \(2\sqrt{3}\) + 6
= 6 + \(2\sqrt{3}\)
