गैस का ताप `(T)=(273+27)=300K`.
`R=0.082L atm K^(-1)mol^(-1)`.
मान ले कि गैस का आणविक द्रव्यमान `M` है। अतः ,
`M=(dRT)/(p)`, जहा `d=` गैस का घनत्व
`=(1.75g L^(-1)xx0.082L atm K^(-1)mol^(-1)xx300K)/((740)/(760)atm)`
`=(1.75xx0.082xx300xx760)/(740)g mol^(-1)`
`=44.2g mol^(-1)`.
