Here , `m = 1 kg , u = 6 m//s , upsilon = 0 , t = 0.1 s `
Impulse `= F xx t = m (upsilon - u ) = 1 (0-6) = - 6 Ns`
Retarding force that stops the hammer ,
` F = (Fxxt)/(t)= (6)/(0.1)=60 N `
Retardation of hammer ,
` a = (F)/m = (60)/1 = 60 m//s^(2) ` .
