माना `vec(A)xxvec(B)=vec(R)`
अतः `vec(R)` की दिशा `vec(A)` व `vec(B)` दोनों के लंबवत है । प्रश्नानुसार सदिश `vec(C)` भी `vec(A)` व `vec(B)` दोनों के लम्बवत है अतः `vec(R)` तथा `vec(C)` समरैखिक है अतः इनके बीच कोण `theta=0^(@)` अथवा `180^(@)` है अतः `sintheta=0` है ।
`:." "|vec(C)xx(vec(A)xxvec(B))|=|vec(C)xxvec(R)|`
`=CRsintheta=CRxx0=0`
`:." "vec(C)xx(vec(A)xxvec(B))=vec(0)` यही सिद्ध करना था ।
