Correct Answer - B
(b) We know that kinetic energy , `K=(1)/(2)mv^(2)`
where, `u=(dy)/dt)=omegaA"cos"omegat`
So, `K=(1)/(2)momega^(2)A^(2)"cos"^(2)omegat`
Hence, kinetic energy varies periodically with double the frequency of SHH. So, when a particle executing SHM oscillates with a frequency v, then the kinetic energy of particle changes periodically with a frequency of 2v.
