Basis Selling Marketing
Focus Selling focuses on the need of seller. Marketing focuses on the need of the customer.
Objective Main objective of selling is to maximize the profit and sale. Main objective of marketing is earning optimum profit with customer satisfaction.
Scope Scope of selling is limited to exchange of goods and services for some consideration. Scope of marketing is very wide.It includes activities like creation of demand,designing of product according to demand,using promotional technique and after sale survey to find out customer satisfaction,
start and end Selling starts after production and ends with the sale of the product Marketing starts much before production and continues even after the sale.
