Best answer
The threshold wavelength of sodium
`lambda_0=(hc)/lambda=(6.6xx10^(-34) xx3xx10^8)/(2.3xx1.6xx10^(-19))=5380 Å`
As given wavelength `lambda`= 6800 Å lt threshold wavelength `lambda_0`=5380 Å, no photoelectric emission will take place.
