स्थिति - I `eV=(hc)/(lambda)-(hc)/(lambda_(0)) " " ...(i)`
स्थिति - `II " " e(V)/(4) = (hc)/(2 lambda) - (hc)/(lambda_(0))`
अथवा `eV=(2hc)/(lambda) - (4 h c)/(lambda_(0)) " " ...(ii)`
समी . (i) व (ii) से
`(hc)/(lambda) - (2hc)/(lambda)=-(4hc)/(lambda_(0))+(hc)/(lambda_(0))`
अथवा `-(hc)/(lambda)=-(3hc)/(lambda_(0))`
अथवा ` lambda _(0)=3 lambda`.
