`3 eV_(0) = (hc)/(lambda) - W " " ...(i)`
`eV_(0) = (hc)/(2 lambda) - W " " ...(ii)`
समी. (ii) को 3से गुणा करके समी. (i) में से घटाने पर
` 2W = (hc)/(2 lambda)` अथवा ` W= (hc)/(4 lambda)=(hc)/(lambda_(0))` अथवा ` lambda_(0) = 4 lambda`.
