Best answer
Correct Answer - C
`I_2=V/X_C=V/3` (here V=rms value)
`I_1=V/R=V/4`
`I_2` is `90^@` ahead of applied voltage function and `I_1` is in phase with it.

`I_1=V/4`
`tanphi=(V//3)/(V//4)=4/3`
`:. phi=53^@`
