Correct Answer - The outer electronic configuration of `Ag(Z=47)` is `4d^(10)5S^(1)` in addition to +1, it show an oxidation state of +2 (e.g,AgO and AgF_(2) exits)` in +2 oxidation state , the configuration is `d^(9)`,i.e. the d-subshell is incompletely filled . Hence, it is a transition elements.
