Describe briefly, by drawing suitable diagrams,the 

(i) sky wave and 

(ii) space wave modes of propagation. Mention the frequency range of the waves in these modes of propagation.

(i) And (ii) Sky wave propagation 

The sky wave propagation is due to the ionospheric reflection of radio waves back to the earth.

The space wave propagation is by line-of-sight propagation, directly between transmitter receiver / or by satellite. The frequency range of sky wave is few MHz to 40 MHz.

The frequency range of space wave is above MHz to 40 MHz.
