जब `n_(1) = 2 "व" n_(2) = 3 ` में संक्रमण होता हैं तब `H_(alpha)` रेखा प्राप्त होती हैं ।
`therefore (1)/(lamda) = R [ (1)/(2^(2)) - (1)/(3^(2))] = (5R)/(36)`
`therefore "आवृति" u = (c)/(lamda) = c xx (5R)/(36)`
`= (3xx10^(8) xx 5 xx 1*097 xx 10^(7))/(36)Hz`
या `u = 4*57 xx 10^(14)Hz`.
