Correct Answer - Option 1 : 168

Calculation:

Sides of cuboid = 14cm, 12cm and 8cm.

Side of cube = 2cm.

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

Volume of cuboid = 14 × 12 × 8

Volume of cube = side3

Volume of cube = 2 × 2 × 2

Number of cubes = (14 × 12 × 8)/( 2 × 2 × 2) = 7 × 6 × 4 = 168.

When a solid is melted and its shape is changed the one property that remains the same is the volume of the solid.
