Correct Answer - Option 2 : 20

Given:

He retains 10% of the money for taxi fare

Calculation:

Let be assume Gopla has the 100 rupee

⇒ So from 100 rupees, Gopal can buy 50 orange and 40 mangoes

⇒ Price of each mango = 100/40 = 2.5, and Price of each orange = 100/50 = 2

⇒ The remaining amount after taxi fare reduction = 100 - 10 = 90

⇒ He has purchased 20 mangoes then remaining amount = 90 - 20 × 2.5 = 90 - 50 = 40

⇒ He can purchased number of orange in remaining amount = 40/2 = 20

∴ The required result will be 20.
