Correct Answer - Option 2 : 40

Given:

A cuboid block of 6 cm × 12 cm × 15 cm is cut up into an exact number of equal cube

Calculation:

The given 6 cm × 12 cm × 15 cm

HCF = 3

Then cube = a = 3 cm

Then the possible number of cubes = (6 × 12 × 15) / (3 × 3 × 3)

The number of cubes = 2 × 4 × 5 = 40

Hence, the number of cubes = 40
