Correct Answer - Option 1 : 6√2 cm

Given:

The area of an equilateral triangle = √12 cm

Formula Used:

The area of an equilateral triangle = √3/4(Side)2

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3 × Side

Calculation:

The area of an equilateral triangle = √3/4(Side)2

⇒ √12 cm = √3/4(Side)2

⇒ Side2 = 8

⇒ Side = 2√2 cm

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3 × Side

⇒ The perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3 × 2√2 cm = 6√2 cm

∴ The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 6√2 cm.

The correct option is 1 i.e. 6√2 cm.
