Correct Answer - Option 3 : 6750

Given:

Dimensions of brick

length = 20 cm = 0.20 m

breadth = 15 cm = 0.15 m

height = 10 cm = 0.10 m

Dimentions of wall

length = 45 m

breadth = 0.15 m

height = 3 m

Formula used:

Volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height

Number of brick = Volume of the wall/Volume of brick

Calculation:

According to the formula,

⇒ The volume of the wall = 45 × 0.15 × 3 m3

⇒ Volume of brick = 0.20 × 0.15 × 0.10 m3

⇒ Number of brick = (45 × 0.15 × 3)/( 0.20 × 0.15 × 0.10)

⇒ Number of brick = 6750

∴ The number of bricks required to construct a wall is 6750.
