Given:

Total population = 62500

Covid patients = 20% of the total population

Young patients whose are effected in Covid = 40% of the total effected patients

Calculation:

Total patients effected in Covid = 62500 × 20% = 12500

Covid patients whose are young = 12500 × 40% = 5000

∴ Covid patients whose are above 60 = (12500 ─ 5000) = 7500
