Correct Answer - Option 1 : \({1\over {2}} ,{ 5\over {8}},{3\over {4}}\)

Given:

Given fractions are 3/4, 1/2 and 5/8.

Calculation:

The LCM of the denominators of 4, 2 and 8 = 8

Now, Multiplying the given fractions by 8 we get,

(3/4) × 8 = 6,

(1/2) × 8 = 4,

(5/8) × 8 = 5.

Here,

4 < 5 < 6

So,

1/2 < 5/8 < 3/4.

∴ The given fractions arranged in the ascending order are 1/2, 5/8, 3/4.
