Correct Answer - Option 5 : Quantity A = Quantity B or No relation

Solving for Quantity A:

Given:
Amount in 2.5 years = Rs. 805

Amount in 4.5 years = Rs. 889

Formula used:

S.I = PRT/100

Calculation:

Interest for 2 years = 889 - 805 = Rs. 84

Interest for 2.5 years = (84/2) × 2.5 = Rs. 105

Principal = 805 - 105 = Rs. 700

S.I = PRT/100

105 = (700 × R × 2.5)/100

⇒ R = (105 × 100)/(700 × 2.5)

⇒ R = (105/17.5) = 6%

So, Quantity A = 6%

Also given, Quantity B = 6%

∴ Quantity A = Quantity B
