Given:

The ratio of Munna’s and Guddu’s age 8 years hence = 6 : 5

Munna is twice the age of Guddu.

Calculation:

Let the present age of Munna and Guddu be ‘2x’ and ‘x’ respectively.

According to the question,

⇒ (2x + 8)/(x + 8) = 6 : 5

⇒ 10x + 40 = 6x + 48

⇒ 4x = 48 – 40

⇒ 4x = 8

⇒ x = 2 

⇒ Present age of Munna = 2 × 2 = 4 years

⇒ Age of Munna after 6 years = 4 + 6 = 10 years

∴ The age of Munna after 6 years will be 10 years
