Correct Answer - Option 2 : 6

Given:

21 chocolates are shared in the ratio 5 : 2

Calculation:

Let the ratio of chocolates is 5x : 2x

⇒ 5x + 2x = 21

⇒ 7x = 21

⇒ x = 21/7 = 3

Smaller share is 2x which is

⇒ 2 × 3 = 6

∴ The smaller share will be 6 chocolates.
