Correct Answer - Option 2 : 21

Given:

The side of square tile = 8.2 cm

The area of floor = 41 cm × 41 cm

Concept Used:

Area of the square = side × side

Calculation:

Area of one tile = 8.2 × 8.2

According to question –

⇒ Number of tiles × Area of one tiles = Area of the floor

⇒ (x + 4) × 8.2 × 8.2 = 41 × 41

⇒ (x + 4) = 25

⇒ x = 21
