Correct Answer - Option 1 : - 1/5

Given

(4s + 3)/(3s + 5)] = 1/2

Calculation

[(4s + 3)/(3s + 5)] = 1/2

⇒ 2(4s + 3) = 1(3s + 5)

⇒ 8s + 6 = 3s + 5

⇒ 8s - 3s = 5 - 6

⇒ 5s = - 1

⇒ s = - 1/5
