Correct Answer - Option 1 : 12

GIVEN:

The numbers are 36 and 84

CONCEPT USED:

The Highest Common Factor (H.C.F)  is the highest number which is common out of it's total Prime factorization

CALCULATION:

The numbers are 36 and 84

⇒ 36 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3

⇒ 84 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 7

⇒ The highest common Factor = 2 × 2 × 3 = 12

∴ The H.C.F of the numbers 36 and 84 is 12
