रचना – 

सर्वप्रथम एक रेखाखण्ड AB = 4 सेमी खींचा। बिन्दु A पर ∠BAC = 60° पटरी व परकार की सहायता से बनाया। 

बिन्दु B से AC के समान्तर रेखा खींचने के लिए बिन्दु से 60° का कोण बनाया।

अत: BD, AC के समान्तर रेखा है।
