The class interval 3-5 has maximum frequency. So, it is the modal class.

∴ l = 3, f1 = 8, f0 = 7, f2 = 2, h = 2

= 3 + 2/7 = 3 + 0.286 = 3.286

Hence, mode of the data = 3.286.
