Correct option: (c) y = 0, y = 6

Explanation:

To find the vertices of major axis, we put x = 0

So, the tangents passes through the points (0, 0) and (0,6)

Tangents at vertices of the standard parabola are perpendicular to the coordinate axis.

So, the equation of tangents are y = 0 or y = 6

Since, b2 > a2, so major axis of ellipse is at Y-axis.
