TNT is a yellow, odorless substance that does not exist naturally in nature. Toluene is combined with a combination of nitric and sulfuric acids to produce it (ATSDR 1995). At ambient temperature, it is a crystalline solid of a highly explosive single-ring nitroaromatic compound (CRREL 2006).
Aniline derivatives, such as phenylenediamines and diphenylamine, are antioxidants used as rubber additives. Paracetamol is an example of a drug made from aniline (acetaminophen, Tylenol). In the dye business, aniline is mostly used as a precursor to indigo, the blue of blue jeans.
Azo dyes are the most significant synthetic colorants that have been widely utilized in textile, printing, and paper manufacture, among other applications.
