उस रेखा का सदिश समीकरण ज्ञात कीजिए जो बिन्दु (2,-1, 1) से गुजरती है तथा रेखा \(\frac{x-3}{2}\) = \(\frac{y+1}{7}\) = \(\frac{z-2}{-3}\) के समान्तर है।

दी गई रेखा  \(\frac{x-3}{2}\) = \(\frac{y+1}{7}\) = \(\frac{z-2}{-3}\) 

के समान्तर बिंदु (2, – 1, 1) से गुजरने वाली रेखा का समीकरण  \(\frac{x-2}{2}\) = \(\frac{y+1}{7}\) = \(\frac{z-1}{-3}\) 

क्योंकि दोनों समान्तर रेखाओं के दिक्-अनुपात एक ही होते हैं।

∴ वांछित रेखा का सदिश समीकरण
