To generate an SSH key pair, follow these steps:

Open a terminal.
Run the following command, replacing [email protected] with your email address:
```
ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -C "[email protected]" 
```
When prompted, press Enter to accept the default file location (usually ~/.ssh/id_rsa).
You may also be prompted to enter a passphrase for added security. You can choose to skip this step, but adding a passphrase is recommended.
