Best answer

Correct option is (c) 1, 3, 4, 5

\(\overset{+7}{KMnO_4} \longrightarrow [\overset{+6}MnO_4]^{2-}\), hence 1 electron is transferred.

\(\overset{+7}{KMnO_4} \longrightarrow \overset{+4}MnO_2\),hence 3 electron is transferred.

\(\overset{+7}{KMnO_4} \longrightarrow \frac 12\overset{+3}Mn_2O_3\), hence 4 electron is transferred.

\(\overset{+7}{KMnO_4} \longrightarrow \overset{+2}Mn\)hence 5 electrons are transferred.
