Correct option is : (c) 1/V2

Linear momentum p = \(\sqrt{2mK}\)

∵ K1 = K2 = K; m1 = m; m2 = 2m

\(\therefore\ \frac{p_1}{p_2} = \sqrt{\frac{2m_1K}{2m_2K}} =\sqrt{\frac{m_1}{m_2}} = \sqrt{\frac{m}{2m}} = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}\)

p1 : p2 = 1 : \(\sqrt{2}\)

Hence, option (c) is correct.
