\(I = I_{cm} + mr^2 = \frac{1}{2}mr^2 + mr^2\)
= \(\frac{3}{2}\ mr^2\)
∴ Angular momentum of the disc about the origin:
\(L = I\omega = \frac{3}{2}\ mr^2\omega\)
