50ml NH3 20°C ताप तथा 500 mm दाब पर 10 मिनट में एक पात्र से विसरित हो जाती है, ताप व दाब की समान परिस्थिति में मोलर द्रव्यमान 34 वाली किसी अज्ञात गैस के 60ml. को विसरित होने में लगे समय की गणना कीजिए।

NH3 के विसरण की दर  = आयतनसमय = 50 / 10

= 5 ml प्रति मिनट

अज्ञात गैस के विसरण की दर = 60/t ml प्रति मिनट

अज्ञात गैस के 60ml. को विसरित होने में लगे समय

\(\frac{5}{{}^{60} / {}_t} = \sqrt{\frac{34}{17}}\)

\(\frac{t}{12} = \sqrt{2}\)

t = 12 × √2 

t = 12 × 1.414

t = 16.968 मिनट
