Fuzzy Select Tool (Magic Wand):

Based on color similarity, the Fuzzy pick (Magic Wand) tool is used to select areas of the active layer or picture.

Steps to use the Magic Wand Tool are:

• Go to Tools > Selection Tools > Fuzzy Select from the picture menu bar, or by clicking on the tool icon  in the ToolBox, or by using the keyboard shortcut U.

• The mouse cursor takes on the form of a magic wand. 

• Click anywhere on the picture. 

• The adjacent areas of identically colored pixels are selected.
