Since roller support at point B, C, so only vertical reactions are there say RB, RC. At point A rod is in contact with the wall that is wall give a contact reaction to the rod say RA. Let rod is inclined at an angle of θ. Rod is in equilibrium position.

∑V = 0 ...........(i)

Rcosθ – Rcosθ + 100 cosθ = 0

RC – RB = 100

Taking moment about point A:

∑MA = 100 × 0.6 – RC × 0.4 + RB × 0.2 = 0

2RC – RB = 300

Solving equation (i) and (ii)

RC = 200

RB = 100

∑H = 0

RA + RB sinθ – RC sinθ + 100 sinθ = 0

RA + 100 sinθ – 200 sinθ +100 sinθ = 0

RA = 0
