The correct option is (a) Rs. 1280

Explanation:

Now share of A and B is 2:3

So options B and C are not possible.

Consider

Option (a) i.e.

Share of A = Rs. 1280

Share of A/ Share of B = 2/3

Share of B = 3/2 x A's share = 3/2 x 1280 = Rs. 1920

Similarly B:C = 4:5

Share of C = 5/4 x B's Share = 5/4 x 1920 = Rs. 2400

Similarly C:D = 6:7

Share of D = 7/6 x C's Share = 7/6 x 2400 = Rs. 2800

Total = Rs. 8400

Total is Rs. 8400. So answer is Option (a) i.e. Rs. 1280.
