sinx = M(d/dx)(sinx + cosx) + N(sinx + cosx)

= M(-sinx + cosx) + N(sinx + cosx)

Comparing the coefficients of sinx and cosx, we have

- M + N = 1, M + N = 0

Solving these equations, we have M = - 1/2, N = 1/2.
