Best answer

(c) Since, answers of no. two examinees are identical, so first item in List-A can be matched with any of the 5 items in List-B. It can be done in 5 ways. Similarly, 2nd item in List-A can be matched with any of the remaining 4 items in List-B. It can be done in 4 ways. Continuing in the same way,

 No of ways of arranging the items = 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1=120

Now, in this arrangement there is one such arrangement, which is the correct answer.

∴ Maximum number of examinees = no.

of ways of arrangement of items = 120 – 1 = 119
