Abstract:
The lesson is about a teenager, Derry. Derry’s face is burnt on one side. So he suffers from loneliness and avoids company. One day he happens to meet Mr Lamb who has a broken leg. One of his legs is of tin. Mr Lamb talks to him in such a way that he develops a positive outlook in himself.

सारांश:
यह पाठ डैरी नामक एक किशोर के विषय में है। डैरी का चेहरा एक ओर से जला हुआ है। इसलिए वह अकेलेपन की भावना से ग्रस्त है और लोगों के साथ से बचता है। एक दिन वह संयोगवश श्रीमान् लैम्ब से मिलता है जिनकी एक टाँग टूटी हुई है। उनकी एक टाँग टिन की है। श्रीमान् लैम्ब उससे इस प्रकार बात करते हैं कि उसमें स्वयं के बारे में एक सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण विकसित हो जाता है।
