Free Eye Operation Camp

Sikar, June 23
There was a Free Eye Operation Camp held in the school building of Govt Higher Secondary School, Sikar last week by an N.G.O. The Health Minister of Rajasthan Government inaugurated the camp. There was a large gathering of patients there. On the first day, the patients were admitted to the camp. The eye-specialist Dr Sudheer examined their eyes and gave them necessary medicines and instructions. Next day, operations were performed. On the last day, the patients were sent to their homes. The camp was over. During these days social workers offered their services. Doctors and nurses performed their duties efficiently. 200 patients were operated upon, in the camp.

एक N.G.O.के द्वारा गत सप्ताह सीकर के Govt. Senior Secondary School के भवन में एक निःशुल्क नेत्र शल्य शिविर का आयोजन किया गया था। राजस्थान के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने इसका शुभारंभ किया। वहाँ पर रोगियों का एक बहुत बड़ा जमावड़ा था। प्रथम दिन रोगियों को शिविर में भर्ती किया गया। नेत्र विशेषज्ञ डॉ. सुधीर ने उनकी आँखों की जाँच की तथा उन्हें आवश्यक निर्देश और दवाइयाँ दी। दूसरे दिन शल्य क्रिया संपादित हुयी। अंतिम दिन रोगियों को अपने-अपने घर भेज दिया गया। शिविर समाप्त हो गया। इन दिनों सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने अपना-अपना योगदान दिया। डाक्टर्स और सेविकाओं ने अपना अपना कार्य प्रभावपूर्ण ढंग से किया। इस शिविर में 200 रोगियों का आपरेशन गया।
