log 2 = 0.3010 ……… (i)

log 200= log (2 x 102)

= log 2 + log 102

= log 2 + 2 log 10

= 0.3010 + 2 x 1

= 2 + 0.3010

= 2.3010

Hence, log 200 = 2.3010
