we are thankful to you for giving us such a grand farewell party. I have come here to tell you about the aim of my life.
Everybody has some aim in life; and then he works to achieve it. Aim or setting goal is important for every person because without aim man is directionless. Aim in life gives meaning to life. It is very important that an aim is formulated and efforts are sincerely made to achieve that aim. You will have to be bold enough to make an aim. I have also an aim in my life. I want to become a doctor. This is undoubtedly a noble profession. The nursing of the sick is a vocation as well as the service of society. A doctor gets ample opportunities to lessen the sufferings of people. At the same time, he can earn enough to live happily. I don’t want to be a lawyer or a clerk. A lawyer seldom speaks the truth. A clerk’s life is hellish. By becoming a doctor I can serve well the society as well as myself. I won’t accept any money from the poor patients. I will consider myself well rewarded by treating them. Hope all of you will put a noble aim before you. May God bless you in achieving your aim.
